1. What are the feeding systems in an extruder?
The feeding systems on a twin-screw production line mainly include: 1. Spring feeder, 2. Screw feeder, 3. Vacuum powder feeder.
The single screw production line mainly uses: vacuum granulated material feeder.
2. What feeding mode is generally used for twin-screw and single screw extruders?
A conical twin-screw extruder adopts a twin screw feeding system (to reduce the bridging problem. Bridging: after friction between powder particles, static electricity is generated, which easily causes them to pile up together).
The feeding of a single screw extruder is mainly free fall (weightlessness). In addition, a meter weight system (also a weightlessness form) can be used.
3. Why does a twin-screw extruder need a vacuum exhaust system during production?
Powder easily absorbs water vapor from the air, so the main machine needs vacuum exhaust to avoid affecting the products.
4. What are the materials and structures of PP and PE pipe sizing sleeves?
PP and PE pipe sizing sleeves are made of copper. There is a disc type sizing sleeve: good cooling performance, suitable for PE/PP high-speed extrusion, above 8 m/min. The groove of the common copper sizing sleeve: external vacuum allows the pipe to be absorbed, and also allows cooling water to enter.
5. What are the materials of PVC pipe sizing sleeves?
PVC pipe sizing sleeves include copper sleeves for fast cooling, and stainless steel sleeves for wear resistance.
6. What are the drainage methods of a vacuum tank?
Manual drainage, temperature-controlled drainage (mechanical expansion valve, pneumatic angle seat valve).
7. What are the types of pipe cutting machines and their corresponding advantages?
Knife lift cutter: suitable for small-diameter pipe cutting and profile cutting with chips.
Planetary cutting machine: Advantages: pipes other than small-diameter pipes can be cut.
Chipless cutting machine: Advantages: no chips.
8. What surface treatments are applied to the mold?
The surface is plated with hard chromium. Hard chromium improves the surface hardness of parts, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance.
9. What is the main difference between a PE pipe efficient production line and an ordinary PE pipe production line?
The reason why the pipe high-efficiency production line is efficient is that it increases the output of the main machine through high speed.
